The AARES WA (The Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society of Western Australia) Conference 2026 is just around the corner, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for those working in applied economics- particularly in agriculture, environment, food systems, and agribusiness – to connect, learn from others, and share their work.

This is an exciting opportunity for Early-Career Researchers and Postgraduate Students in Western Australia!!

🔹 Showcase your research through:

Full Paper Presentation (20-minute, with reviewer feedback)
Short Presentation (10-15 minutes, 200–400-word summary)
Poster Presentation (electronic display, 3-minute presentation)

Note: If you present a poster at the WA AARES conference, your poster will also be considered for presentation at the 2026 WA AARES Environmental Policy Lecture, which will be held on 17 September at the UWA campus. A limited number of posters will be printed by WA AARES for display at the lecture’s networking event.
