Strengthening research connections through ARC's BITA

This July, the UWA Centre for Agricultural and Viticultural Economics (CAVE) was pleased to host two visiting BITA research colleagues: Associate Professor Magalie Dubois from the Burgundy School of Business and PhD candidate, Mr Antoine Pinede, who has been working at HEG and the University of Geneva conducting research for several years.
Hosted by Dr German Puga, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and explore future research collaborations. A/Prof Dubois and Antoine Pinedeboth have extensive expertise in behavioural and experimental economics, with a strong focus on applications in the wine sector. A perfect blend with our Centre’s expertise!
Throughout their visit, our researchers discussed shared interests, emerging research opportunities, and the application of behavioural economics to challenges facing agriculture and viticulture. These conversations highlighted the value of international collaboration in advancing innovative research and strengthening links between institutions.
We thank Magalie and Antoine for visiting UWA and making new connections within our team. We look forward to building the relationship and collaborating on future research.
